Where to Play SCRABBLE® in Tucson

Tucson features two clubs sanctioned by the North American Scrabble Players Association (NASPA) and listed as "Challenging" Casual Clubs by the National Scrabble Association as well as three other clubs listed as Casual Clubs by The National Scrabble Association (NSA).

NASPA Club # 565 - Speedway Scrabble Club - Tournament Rules/Recreational Club

North American Scrabble Players Association (NASPA) Club # 565 is directed by Ed Saunders. This is a two-tiered club offering a Tournament Rules Division and a separate Recreational Division. The Tournament Rules Division features Scrabble games using NSA Tournament Rules and maintains club statistics and ratings. The Recreational Division offers a more relaxed, but still challenging, game for the casual player and no statistics or ratings will be maintained.

NASPA Club # 800 - Northwest Scrabble Club - Tournament Rules/Recreational Club

North American Scrabble Players Association (NASPA) Club # 800 is directed by Ed Saunders. This is a two-tiered club offering a Tournament Rules Division and a separate Recreational Division. The Tournament Rules Division features Scrabble games using NSA Tournament Rules and maintains club statistics and ratings. The Recreational Division offers a more relaxed, but still challenging, game for the casual player and no statistics or ratings will be maintained.

Learning Scrabble Club - An NSA Casual Club

The Learning Scrabble Club is directed by Naurlene Canterman. This club offers Scrabble games in a more relaxed setting and tends to appeal more to the beginning players.

East Tucson Scrabble Club - An NSA Casual Club

The East Tucson Scrabble Club is directed by Jeannette Kaufman (Click on her name to email her or contact her by phone at 520-400-8861) and features both casual and tournament-style play, depending on players' preferences.

Oro Valley Library Scrabble Club - An NSA Casual Club
