The tournament rules divisions were joined by 5 players who played 32 games in which we scored 12,513 points for a 391.0313 point-per-game average. Of the 45 recorded bingos we played, one was a phoney that went unchallenged.
Richard Spence claimed top honors in the A division, going 4-1 with a positive 264 pt spread.
Carmelene Siani represented division B this week.

We featured two regular contests this week.
This week's regular contests were from the club archives.
If you have contest ideas or perhaps a favorite contest from the past, let me know, we'll try to work it into the mix.
There were 4 players in division A and 1 player in division B.
The first was the Starts Or Ends In "M" Contest for the highest scoring play of a main word that starts or ends with the letter "M". In Division A, Richard Spence took a personal interest with 45 pts for MY but Ed Saunders crept in with 78 pts for MOUSILY to win the $3.00 payoff. Division B went to Carmelene Siani with her 20 pt MEMO to grab up the $0.75 prize.
The second was the Cyberspace Contest for the highest scoring play of a main word that is, or incorporates somewhere within it, the name of a recognizable computer part, component, or term. In Division A, Travis Carlson scored 70 pts with the basic binary component "one" hidden in his IRONERS play, Lewis Saul adjusted the SETTING on his computer to score 76 pts, but Ed Saunders surfed the net and hit the winning note with his 78 pt CORNETS to win the $3.00 pot. Carmelene Siani picked up the $0.75 in Division B with 77 pts for READINGS.
Travis Carlson gave himself a $0.93 gift with his 101 pt play of HANDSEL to clean out this week's 100+ Play Progressive Jackpot.
The other Progressive Jackpots went unclaimed this week and $0.93 will
be added to each next session. We have paid out $384.09 in prizes this season.
