In Division A, Janis Clem scored 34 with FAKED, Naurlene Canterman hit 71 with TENURED, Travis Carlson upped it to 75 with UNRAZED, Lewis Saul ADVISED everyone he was serious about this contest with 79, but Ed Saunders wouldn't rest until he won with 80 pts for UNRESTED. In Division B, Norma Paxson racked up 42 pts with DISHY, but Sarah Jacobson claimed the $1.50 payoff with 45 for HEED.
The second was The Fabrics Of Our Lives Contest for the highest scoring play of a main word that is, or incorporates somewhere within it, the name of some sort of fiber or fabric. In division "A", Naurlene Canterman stuffed the $3.75 prize in her 40 pt JEANS. Division B saw Norma Paxson claim the $1.50 payout with 16 pts for MOIRE.
Travis Carlson pulled $10.28 from the 9+ Bingo Progressive Jackpot. Travis threaded his EGLNPST rack (0 sevens, 1 eight, and 4 nines possible with that tough rack) through an existing A - open - I formation to score 63 pts with the phoney nine pleatings*.
The other Progressive Jackpots all went unclaimed this week and $1.31 will
be added to each next session. We have paid out $299.24 in prizes this season.
