Some interesting bingos:

We featured two regular contests this week

The first regular contest was the Happy, Happy Birthday!! Contest for the highest scoring play of a word that either begins or ends with the letter "M" (In honor of Mickey Matz's birthday). Pat Madea caught both ends with his 15 pt play of MOM, Karen Lundeen scored 21 for her play of TOM, Sarah Jacobson upped that to 24 with her play of MI, Mickey Matz was in his milieu with a 27 pt play of MILIEU, but Ed Saunders hooked an "A" on the front of Karen's TOM to form ATOM/TRAITOR for 63 pts and the $3.75 prize.

The second regular contest was the Take Me For A Ride In Your Car, Car Contest for the highest scoring play of a word that is the name of, or incorporates the name of somewhere within it, a car or automobile of some kind. Sarah Jacobson went straight to the point with an 8 pt play of CAR, Pat Madea scored 12 pts for his Buick REGAL, Karen Lundeen drove up in her TOWN car for 21 pts, and Ed Saunders went European to drive away with the $3.75 prize in one of his 86 pt CITRONS.

Ed's $7.50 winnings will be donated back to the club kitty.

No one cashed in on any of the Progressive Jackpots this week and each shall have $0.93 added to it. We have paid out a total of $215.76 in prizes during the 2008-2009 season. Click here for a complete list of prizes awarded during the 2008-2009 season.
