| 1 | No Games This Week |
This session marked the thirty-second week of NSA Club #565's 2007-2008 season!
Since this season will be our first full season as a two-tiered club with
both a Recreational and a separate Tournament Rules Division. There will
be some tweaking done as the Recreational Division develops.
There were no games in the Recreational Division this week. Click
here for a roster of Recreational Players
In the Tournament session, we were joined by 3 tournament division players who played 14 games in which we scored 5,129 points for a 366.3571 points per game average. Of the 12 recorded bingos we played, two were phonies that went unchallenged.
Some numbers and whatnot for this tournament session include:
Some interesting bingos:
We featured two regular contests this week
The first regular contest was the Anything But "OUT" Contest for the highest scoring play of a word that contains all three of the letters "O-U-T", in any order OTHER THAN O-U-T, somewhere within it. No one came out with an O-U-T play so we'll toss the $2.25 prize back out next time.
The second regular contest was the HI!, Let's Have A Contest for the highest
scoring play of a word that contains the letters "H-I", in any
order, somewhere within it. Ed Saunders hied himself to the front of the
class with HIE for 14 pts, but Pat Madea said
"That's just child's play." and led the rest of the children into
position to score 42 points with his play of CHILDREN.
Pat adds $2.25 to his lunch money this week.
No one cashed in on any of the Progressive Jackpots this week and each shall
have $0.56 added to it. As of this session we have paid out $213.85 in prizes
this season. Click
here for a complete list of prizes awarded during the 2007-2008 season.
The next session (June 26, 2008) shall feature the following contests:

the competition. (e.g. CONATUS,
SAUTOIRE, FAITOUR, TINAMOU,
VITREOUS, BUOYANT,
TURBOTS, THOUSAND,
etc.).
• U-L Luv This Contest! - A quarter of dues
collected shall be awarded to the player who turns in the highest scoring
