The Rules

The "First Two Letters Alphabet Bingo Contest is a contest played over the course of 26 sessions of the 2005-2006 season in NSA Club #565. Each of these sessions shall have a First Two Letters Alphabet Bingo letter assigned to it.

The first session of the First Two Letters Alphabet Bingo Contest shall have the letter A assigned to it. The next session will have the letter B assigned to it. Each following session will have the next letter in the alphabet assigned to it, ending with the letter Z.

The object of the First Two Letters Alphabet Bingo Contest is to play bingos that use the session's designated "First Two Letters" letter as either the first or second letter of the bingo. For each bingo you play that uses that session's designated letter as either the first or second letter of the bingo, you score one point. For instance, if the session's "First Two Letters" letter is A, and you played bingos that included ADDENDUM, HAPPENS, and RADIATE, you would score three points -- one for using the A as the first letter in ADDENDUM, one for using the A as the second letter in HAPPENS , and one for using the A as the third letter in RADIATE.

Each session, one dollar will be taken out of the dues collected and added to the First Two Letters Alphabet Bingo Jackpot. At the end of the contest, the player with the most points will win $13, the player with the second most amount of points shall win $8, and the player with the third most amount of points shall win $5. In the event of a tie, the pot shall be divided between the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd placed entrants.
