This was the 4th session of the 2005 - 2006 Season of National Scrabble Association Club #565!
We were joined by 9 players who played 27 games in which we scored 20,073 points for a 743.4 point-per-game average. Of the 60 recorded bingos we played, 5 were phonies that went unchallenged.

The first contest of the session was the "Double Indemnity" contest for the highest scoring play that containes two repeating letters. We had four entries:

- FEUDALLY for 66 played by Robert Whitcomb
High Game, which Ed Saunders took with a 477 point win. The second contest was the "Out Play Contest" for the highest scoring ending play. Three folks turned in entries for this contest:

- MIRE for 16 points played by Ed Saunders

Two of the four progressive jackpot prizes was taken this session. Lewis Saul played a convincing-looking phony and got away with a 131 point Triple-Triple of QUINDARS*. Naurlene Canterman took the 100+ Play Progressive Jackpot with a 101 point play of FLANKING. Both jackpots are worth $3.92, and $1.68 shall be added to the remaining two progressive jackpots. Finally, we the "Twice Around the Alphabet Bingo Contest" saw four players score a total of 6 points, and Naurlene Canterman remains in 1st place. For complete standings and rules, click here. The next session (15 December) shall feature the following contests:
- High 4 Contest - ~A quarter of dues collected shall be awarded to the player who plays the highest scoring play using four tiles. To qualify for this, you must note the tiles played and the point value of the play.
- High Loss Contest - ~A quarter of dues collected shall be awarded to the player who plays the highest scoring losing game.
- Triple-Triple Progressive Jackpot* - An eighth of the session's dues will be awarded to any player who scores a Triple-Triple play.
- 100+ Play Progressive Jackpot* - An eighth of the session's dues will be awarded to any player who scores 100 or more points in a single play
- Club 565 Progressive Jackpot - $8.03 plus an eighth of the session's dues will be awarded to any player who scores 565 or more points in a single game.
- 9+ Bingo Progressive Jackpot* - $5.97 plus an eighth of the session's dues will be awarded to any player who plays a bingo of 9 or more letters in length.
