We were joined by 8 players, who played a total of 22 games in which we scored 16,283 points for a 740.1 point-per-game average. Of the 49 recorded bingos we played, only 2 were phonies that went unchallenged.

Deja Bingo - In a repeat performance, Lewis Saul turned in SATORIS for the second week in a row.
Nice Nongos - Jason Sommer recorded 2 unplayable bingos of MISTRAL and NODDIES. Ed Saunders died a little bit inside when he was all set to play AQUATONE through a "U" on the board an Robert Whitcomb shut down the line.
Vowel Bingo - Lewis Saul played EULOGIA -- one of three 7-letter bingos that contain all five vowels (the other two are MIAOUED and SEQUOIA).
Some interesting bingos:

This session featured two contests in rememberance of Gary Wagman, a part of the Tucson Scrabble community and friend to many, who passed away recently. Lewis takes home $6.25 for the session.
This session featured the letter T in the ongoing Alphabet Bingo Contest in which all bingos starting with an "T" scored a point. Seven players turned in bingos starting with T, and Nathan Benedict and Joshua Kassel are tied for 1st place, and Ed Saunders is in second.Click here for Alphabet Bingo standings and rules!
One of the four progressive jackpots was taken. Jason Sommer won the 9+ Bingo PriogressiveJackpot for a 9-letter word: EXTORTING and takes home $1.50. The other 3 progressive jackpots shall each have $1.50 added to them. As of this session, we have payed out $550.26 in prizes for the 2004-2005 season. Click here for a complete list of winners.
