We were joined by an intimate group of 6 players who played a total of 18 games in which we scored an even total of 12,905 points for a 716.9 points-per-game average. We played 47 bingos this session. Of those bingos, six were phonies that went unchallenged. Some numbers and other oddness for the session include: Lewis Saul was the top player for a second
session in a row, turning in a 5-1 +320 scorecard. The contests
for the evening were the "W Contest" for the highest-scoring
play using the W tile. Joshua Kassel snagges it with a 78-point
opening play of WOOLIER. Our second contest
was the 4th of July Contest for the highest-scoring play of
a word that could be related to the 4th of July holiday. The
entries for this contest were: One of the progressive jackpots was won.
Turning in his highhest-ever recorded play, Dan Forrest wins
the 100+ Play Jackpot for a 101-point phony of JOCKIED.* Dan
takes home $4.50. The other three progressive jackpots will
