Session Notes:

This was our 45th session of the season. As this was the last session of the month, club rankings are available for September. Nine players were in attendance, including Jason Sommer, joining us again from California.

We played 40 games in which we scored 14,948 points, for a 373.7 points per game average. Of the 55 bingos played this session, 2 were phonies that went unchallenged.

Our top player of the night was Nathan Benedict. Lewis Saul was our Bingo King. The "Low Win" contest was won by Nathan with 360 points.  The "High Non-Bingo" prize goes to Monique Kornell for her 73 points for MAZE. Both take home $4.00.

While there were six bingos played last week beginning with a T, none beginning with a U were played this session so the Alphabet Bingo contest standings remain unchanged (For standings, click here.). Nobody won any of the four jackpot prizes, but Lewis Saul came close to the 600 Jackpot with a score of 553. Additionally, if there were a jackpot prize for repeatedly playing a certain off-color word, Karen Lundeen would certainly have been eligible. Ask Karen for more details on this one. $1.13 will be added to all jackpot prizes.

Next Session (02 October) will feature the following contests:
- Fall Forward Contest - - A prize will be awarded to the player who plays the highest
play that includes a word that evokes the splendor of autumn foliage - something that we don't really get to see in Tucson. Any of the fall colors or words having to do with fall activities (e.g., LEAVES, RAKING, BONFIRE, etc.). (~a quarter of dues collected)
- High Win - A prize will be awarded to the player who scores the most amount of points in a game. (~a quarter of dues collected)
- Triple-Triple Jackpot - $1.13 plus an eighth of the evening's dues will be awarded to any player(s) who scores a Triple-Triple Play.
- 600 Jackpot
- $4.27 plus an eighth of the evening's dues will be awarded to the player to any player(s) who score 600 or more points in a game.
- 9+ Bingo Jackpot
- $1.13 plus an eighth of the evening's dues will be awarded to any player(s) who scores a bingo containing nine or more letters.
"Deja Bingo" Jackpot - $5.04 plus an eighth of the evening's dues will be awarded to any player(s) who plays the same bingo more than once in a session.

- Alphabet Bingo
- The Alphabet Bingo letter for this session is "V." For each bingo you play that begins with the letter V, you score one point. Click here for rules. ($26 Jackpot)
