Phyllis Spence carried the day in Division "B" with a 3-2 record.

Some interesting bingos:
We featured two regular contests this week.
If you have a contest idea or perhaps a favorite contest from the past,
let me know, we'll try to work it into the mix. This week's contests were
from the club archives.
Division "A" had 7 players this week. Division "B" had 3 players.
The first regular contest was the Starts Or Ends In "C" Contest for the highest scoring play of a word that begins or ends in "C". In Division "A", Ed Saunders had a CLEW for 18, Steven Brown pulled up a CHAIR for 40, Naurlene Canterman came CREEPING for 65, Travis Carlson was served by a 69 pt CORTEGE, but Monique Kornell was able to CHASTEN her opposition with 70 pts and won the $5.25 prize. Division "B" saw Sarah Jacobson and Phyllis Spence split the $2.25 payoff with 22 pts each for CAGED and CORRAL respectively. Sarah won the coin flip for the extra penny.
The second was the And The Winner Takes A Bowwow Contest for the highest scoring play of a main word that is, or incorporates somewhere within it, the name of a breed or type of dog. In Division "A", the term "RAT" was used to apply to a "rat terrier" and was allowed in the Northwest Club last Sunday and applied here as well, Naurlene Canterman VIBRATED with excitement as her 61 pts hit the board but Travis Carlson took the wind out of her sails with his 68 pt AERATION to snap up the $5.25 prize. In Division "B", no entries were received in last session's second contest and the $1.50 prize rolled over into this week's second regular contest. Phyllis Spence was the beneficiary of the rollover as she grabbed the enhanced payout of $3.75 with a 24 pt play of PUP.
The Progressive Jackpots went unclaimed this week and $1.87 will be added
to each next session. We have paid out $473.48 in prizes this season. Click
here for a complete list of prizes awarded during the 2011-2012 season.
Next session's contests are from the club archives.
